A practical view of subscriptions
Keep subscription details in their workspace: plan and billing information, pricing, billing cycle, renewal date, status, ownership and the people who rely on it. A dashboard and renewal calendar make upcoming changes easier to see before they become surprises.
Subment does not claim to detect transactions from your bank automatically. The subscription record is the source of truth your workspace maintains.
Manage spending in context
A subscription has more context than a receipt. Track its plan, costs and renewal schedule alongside the team or client that uses it. That gives owners a clearer basis for reviewing what to renew, change or retire.
For a broader picture, plans set capacity for workspaces, subscriptions and members without changing the core access tools.
Keep ownership and access visible
Each subscription belongs in a personal or team workspace. Workspace members can be given a role, and access to an individual subscription is scoped to View, Use or Manage. This makes it easier to answer who owns a subscription, who can use it and what should happen when someone leaves.
When an account is shared, connect the subscription record to its credential and authentication information rather than sending those details through messages.
